I am a mother, midwife and lactation consultant in Perth and owner of Cherished Parenting Services Perth.

I had my daughter in 2014, and despite having worked in NICU and being a midwife, I discovered I knew very little about breastfeeding.  I assumed it would all just come naturally.  But it didn’t, and despite seeing 5 IBCLC lactation consultants, I ended up exclusively expressing.  Through this journey, I realised that our society does not properly prepare us for breastfeeding.

I started my business in 2016, initially renting and selling Spectra breast pumps and a range of expressing products. Still, I have expanded to offer HypnoBirthing classes, breastfeeding education and support, and midwifery services over the years.

I now offer the following services:

• Antenatal and postnatal midwifery care, with Medicare rebates, in the comfort of your home or my clinic
• HypnoBirthing classes
• Breastfeeding education and support, including a pre-birth preparation class
• Spectra breast pumps for hire and sale
• Huge range of expressing products
